UNICEF procured several types of Cold Chain Equipment (CCE) as part of cold chain strengthening support to the Government of India (GoI). Of these CCE, only three equipments required installation. These were Walk-in Coolers (WIC), Walk-in Freezers (WIF) and Solar Direct Drives (SDD). Other electrical equipments such as Ice Lined Refrigerators (ILR) and Deep Freezers were plug and play machines that did not need installation.
